The Story
3Steps is developed by Readplay AS, a Norwegian technology company founded in 2022 and registered as a limited company in March 2024. The goal has always been to give handball coaches and clubs a tool that makes it easy to collect accurate match data, analyse performance and make better sporting decisions.
Development started in close collaboration with Elverum Håndball, where the solution was tested and refined through an extensive beta period. Input from coaches, players and the analysis staff has been crucial to how 3Steps works today.
After several years of development, testing and improvements, 3Steps was launched for all teams in autumn 2026. The solution is built specifically for handball and is still being developed in close dialogue with the clubs that use it.
The name 3Steps is inspired by handball's “three steps” rule, but also stands for the three steps to success: collect data, create insight and develop performance.
The Team
Behind 3Steps is a team with expertise in technology, analysis and handball. Together with the clubs that use the solution, we keep developing the tool.
